Rates & Terms of Bookings

Bookings

• A booking is confirmed after receiving the agreed upon deposit.  All remainder payments should be made on the day.

• All payments are non refundable but could be movable to another time and date if 48 hours notice is given.  This can only be moved once and after that another deposit will be required.

• All clients must include set up and take down time within their hours booked to avoid overtime charges. Over time charges would be charged at the hourly rate.

• The client must make sure they turn up on time as they will be charged from the time of their original booking and any overrun will be charged.  However if there are other booking then the client will be asked to leave.  

• The client may NOT (without express permission from Oaklands Studios) remove, modify or tamper with any equipment in any way, use the equipment in any manor not recommended by the manufacturer or in an unsafe way i.e. near the water feature.

• Bookings made which use the waterfall set requiring the water heater must be made with a minimum of 24 hours notice. It will also incur an extra charge of £30 per booking.

• Booking made using the waterfall set where the water heater is not required would be charged at the regular studio rate.

• Moving equipments and parts of set are allowed but only under the supervision/permission of members of staff. Operation of medical beds mechanisms are only to be done by members of staff so as to prevent injuries/accidents. Please ask if required.

• Jasmine, who owns the studio, and one of the other studio staff, do have their dogs at the studio sometimes. If you have an issue with dogs being present, please let us know and we will make sure to keep the dogs away from you, as we know some people may have a fear of dogs or may have an allergy to dog hair.

Breakages/losses/damages

• The client hiring the studio is responsible for all breakages/losses/damages caused to the studio and/or equipment by him/her/them or any other person using the studio.

• Oaklands Studios will NOT accept any liability of clients personal effects.  It is up to the client to make sure any belongings are kept safe and not left behind. 

• No heels or sharp objects etc are to be used/worn by people going into the Medical suite. The reason being that heels can damage both sets.

Conduct of the shoot

• The shoot will be arranged on dates mutually agreed by all parties.

• All people attending the Studio MUST be over the age of 18 and will required to present Photo ID evidence of this.

• Photographers are not allowed in the changing room at any time while models are getting ready for their shoot.

• Any client found to be breaking these rules will be asked to leave the premises immediately and the hire will be terminated with full hire rate payable. 

Levels of Work

• No one should be persuaded out of their comfort zone and/or past their levels.  Anyone found breaching this will be asked to leave immediately, the hire will be terminated and full hire rate is still payable.  

• It is the responsibility of all parties using the studio to ensure they have the correct paperwork (eg. Release forms) for any records required.

• CCTV is operational in certain areas of the studios for the safety and wellbeing of everyone using Oaklands Studios.
